Worship and Services
God is with us all through our lives. He serves us in His Word and Sacraments and blesses us when we celebrate the important moments of our lives.
The worship service or Mass is a common feast of the parish and is held every holy day, usually at 10 am. At the service we pray, sing and learn more about Jesus and God. The church service is a place where God nurtures our faith by serving us.
You are welcome to join us in any service, even if we do not share a common language.
► There are also regular services held in English and other languages in Vantaa and in the capital region, see calendar of activities.
Sacrament of Baptism and other services
The Lutheran church recognizes two sacraments, or visible signs of grace: the sacrament of the Eucharist and the sacrament of Baptism.
In addition to these major feasts, the church is here to convey God's blessing on its members from cradle to grave. The common Creed of the confirmation service, marriage in the sight of God, the cross on the coffin – all these sustain hope in life as in death. God's blessing carries us throughout our lives and He is present in the celebrations of our life.
