"I believe in God…"

As Christians, we believe in one God, who reveals him in general through the world he created and more specifically in the Holy Scriptures, the Word of God.

“God approaches us as Creator, Redeemer, and Sanctifier. He is the Triune God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God has created everything. He has become as one of us in the Son, and he is present in the Holy Spirit. God is not merely some remote initial cause or non-personal force, but he works in creation and history, encountering us personally.”

God the Father

“As Creator, God is everyone’s heavenly Father. We are his children and live under his care. It is our duty to protect and look after God’s world.”

God the Son

“In Jesus, God’s love became visible in this world. God took part in humanity by sending his only Son to us.”

God the Holy Spirit

“Before his death, Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit to defend and to guide his own. After the resurrection, at Pentecost, God poured out his Spirit upon the disciples and filled them with his grace and gifts.”
